Alert:

The City of Glenwood Springs is in the process of switching to upgraded utility billing software. During the transition, some payment methods will be temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your patience as we make this switch. 

Anticipated Timeline (this is subject to change):

  • 5 p.m. on May 30 until 7:30 a.m. on June 1: Credit/debit and e-check payments are temporarily not accepted. Payments may be made with physical checks at the drop boxes, in-person, or by mail.  Cash payments are accepted in person during business hours.
  • June 1 to June 7: Credit/debit and e-check payments only accepted over the phone and in person. Online self-service unavailable.  Cash and physical check payments will also be accepted as outlined above.
  • June 7: New utility billing system expected to be active. Existing account holders will receive new account numbers on bills arriving in June. Once you receive these new account numbers, you will be able to set up an online profile for online payments, auto-pay, paperless billing, and more. Check and cash payments will still be accepted.

Automatic Direct Debit from a Checking or Savings Account:

Drop Box: 

Drop boxes are located on the building at the front (eastern) entrance and in the parking lot on the west side of City Hall across from the Police Station.

By Phone: 

Credit/debit card and electronic check payments can be made by calling (970) 384-6455, Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Convenience fees apply for all card and e-check transactions. Learn more about card payments and e-checks.

In Person: 

Cash, Check, or Credit/Debit Card are accepted in the Finance Department on the main floor of City Hall, Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Convenience fees apply for all card and e-check transactions.

Buzón:

Los buzones están situados en el edificio, en la entrada principal (este) y en el parqueadero del lado oeste de la Alcaldía, frente a la Estación de Policía.
