Red Mountain North

Project Details

Construction will begin Monday, June 5. The contractor for this project is Johnson Construction (JCI). Construction is anticipated to be complete in October.

Scope of Work

The city had to cut the project back from its original scope which included paving the Red Mountain trailhead parking areas and sidewalks for the subdivision.  We will be moving forward with curb and gutter to collect storm water, sewer line replacement, waterline replacement and removal and replacement of all asphalt roadway surfacing.  These are all the essential portions of the project. Construction in 2023 will be Phase 1, to include Red Mountain Drive from the one lane bridge to the north, also including West 9th Street.  The portion of the project to the south of the one-lane bridge will be Phase 2, completed in the near future. 

Construction Impacts

Red Mountain Dr. will be southbound only (towards the one-lane bridge) for the duration of this work. Residents should anticipate construction noise during work hours, weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
